Raaga Madhuri Music is a place for music lovers to learn and explore Carnatic music. It is based in Austin, Texas. The school offers in-person and online group lessons in Carnatic vocal music. Kids ages 5 and older can enroll for the classes.

Having a passion for music is truly a blessing. If you are passionate about Carnatic music and are interested in taking lessons to improve your singing and to get a strong foundation, Raaga Madhuri Music is the perfect place for you.

The soothing power of music to reduce stress is well established. I try to keep my classes as relaxing and enjoyable as possible because I believe that learning music should be a fun experience. At the same time, I give a lot of emphasis to perfection in singing by repetitive corrections and constant encouragement. I believe that my students should enjoy my class as well as take full benefit of the lessons.

I had a passion for Carnatic Music since my childhood. My journey of music started at the age of 10. I pursued music for about 10 years under the able guidance of various Gurus. After working as a software developer for over a decade, I decided to quit my corporate career to pursue my passion for music. I started teaching music to pass on our ancient musical traditions to the next generation. I also run a YouTube music channel - youtube.com/MadhuriMutyala, as a tribute to great and legendary composers of Carnatic Music showcasing some of their beautiful compositions.
